The Skyra Foundation is excited to present the beloved holiday classic, The Nutcracker. Suspend belief as this holiday spectacle transports you to a dazzling winter wonderland with a snowfall on stage in this new production of The Nutcracker. Step into this magical world where the Nutcracker leads tap-dancing toy soldiers in a battle between the hilariously grotesque Mouse Queen and her army of mice. Be transported to the Land of Sweets with Clara and the Nutcracker Prince as they encounter a cast of colorful characters including tap dancing Russians, acrobatic Arabians, and the enchanting Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy, set to Tchaikovsky’s original score. Calling CENTRAL FLORIDA DANCERS FROM ALL SCHOOLS: Nutcracker auditions are Sunday, August 29! Join the Ballet Conservatory at Skyra and Skyra Studios as we present The Nutcracker this holiday season at the beautiful Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, FL. Dancers from any studio and professional dancers are welcome!

AUDITION FEE
$25 (payable by cash, check, Debit or Credit)
AUDITION TIMES
Students males and females:
Age 11 and Up (on pointe for 2+ years):
1:30pm Registration, 2:00pm Audition
Age 8 and up (not on pointe or on pointe less than 2 years)
3:00pm Registration, 3:30pm Audition
Professional freelance dancers, males, and females:
4:30pm Registration, 5:00pm Audition
*No Audition or Show Fee for professional freelance dancers.
Note: All students on pointe should bring pointe shoes. Arrive early to ensure you have enough time to complete your audition form, be measured, and receive your audition number.
* All auditions will be held at Skyra Studios
* Attire: Black Leo, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes for women, black or white tee with black leggings, and ballet shoes for men. No pointe shoes unless you have been on pointe for two years or more.
* Please arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to your audition time as we will need to take measurements of all dancers.
